Your continued use of the Service after we update the Notice indicates that you accept the revised terms with respect to such continued use. This may include personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, date of birth, location, phone number, physical address, full payment account information, as well as any non-public information you may choose to disclose in the blog posts or comments you submit using the Service. Please be mindful that if you provide sensitive information through the Service, such information will be obtained by JAAN, and any information you post on public portions of the Service will be publicly available and may be accessible to other users. For example, we may use certain automated tracking tools to collect your Internet protocol (IP) address, location, user type, device model and details about your use of the Service. The Service may contain content that is supplied by a third party, and those third parties may collect usage data and your device identifier when such content is served to you. Associated third-party services may also be available via the Service. We are not responsible for the data collection and privacy practices employed by such third parties or their services and they may themselves be collecting data from you and may be sharing it with us and/or others. These third parties and their services may also associate their tracking technologies with you, track you across sites, apps, devices and time, serve you their own ads, and may or may not have their own published privacy policies.
The Service may include links to non-JAAN websites or online services for your convenience and information. These third-party websites may have their own privacy policies or notices, which we encourage our users to review. This Privacy Notice applies solely to information collected by us directly through the Service. JAAN is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of any linked websites that we do not control.
Commercial and Solicitation Communications. If you no longer wish to receive commercial or solicitation emails from JAAN, please send an email to [email protected] or follow the unsubscribe instructions included in the emails. Please note that even if you opt-out of receiving commercial and solicitation emails from us, we may continue to send you transactional and informational emails relating to our programs, your inquiries, or transactions or use of our Service, such as administrative and service announcements. These messages may be unaffected if you choose to opt-out from receiving commercial and solicitation communications from us.
You can prevent further collection of information via the Service by ceasing interaction with the Service.
You may request removal of your Content submissions from public availability on the Service by contacting JAAN through any methods included in the Contact Us section at the end of these Terms, detailing where the Content or information is posted and attesting that it is your Content. JAAN will then make reasonable good faith efforts to remove the post from prospective public view or anonymize it so the you cannot be individually identified. This removal process cannot ensure complete or comprehensive removal. For instance, third-parties may have republished or archived content by search engines and others that JAAN does not control. If you wish to update, correct, or delete information you have provided through the Service, you may make a request by contacting [email protected]. JAAN will then make reasonable good faith efforts to accommodate your request subject to our need to maintain information for legal or business purposes and copies stored in backup in normal course of practice.

Note, however, there is no consensus among industry participants as to what “Do Not Track” means in this context. We currently do not alter our practices when we receive a “Do Not Track” signal from a visitor using the Service. The Service is not intended for, nor targeted to, children under 13, and we do not knowingly or intentionally collect information from children under 13. If we learn that we have received information directly from a child who is under the age of 13, we will delete the information in accordance with applicable law.
If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with personally identifiable information without his/her consent, then he or she should contact us at the contact information provided below.
Any California residents under the age of 18 who posted content or information on the Service, can request removal by contacting JAAN as set forth in the prior section.
JAAN implements reasonable physical, administrative, and technical safeguards to help us protect your personally identifiable information collected through the Service. Even with our safeguards in place, however, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed secure. Accordingly, we cannot ensure or guarantee the security of information you transmit to us.
As set forth in our Terms of Use, the Service is intended for use in the United States. If you happen to be using the Service from outside the United States, please be aware that information we collect will be transferred to and stored on our servers in the United States. By using the Service, you acknowledge and consent to the transfer and processing of your personal data in the United States as described in this Privacy Notice.
